7.0

Rok 1916, miasteczko Kirrary w Irlandii. Rosy, córka właściciela gospody Toma Ryana, poślubia starszego o 15 lat wdowca, dawnego nauczyciela. Romantyczna i zmysłowa dziewczyna rozczarowana jest seksualną nieporadnością małżonka. Gdy dowództwo miejscowego garnizonu, kontrolującego kontakty IRA, obejmuje przystojny Anglik Randolph Doryan, Rosy zakochuje się w nim z wzajemnością. Romans wywołuje powszechne zgorszenie. W życie kochanków wkracza również polityka.
